Students experiencing personal problems, which require professional counseling, will be referred to a local Department of Social Services office.

ICDC College is located near excellent hospitals. Should the need arise, ICDC College will refer student(s) to an appropriate medical facility.

Student Services will provide childcare providers in the area including nursery places and registers of authorized childcare facilities in the state of California. Students are asked to contact the Student Services office for more information.

ICDC pays the G.E.D. testing fees for all our students.

Career Services
ICDC College employs Job Developers to work directly with students and employers. Students participate in employment preparation training throughout their programs as part of the general curriculum. As students near graduation, they will meet on an individual basis to finalize employment preparation and goals.
The Job Developer is the connection between graduate and employer. They are in constant communication with various owners, managers, and supervisors who are familiar with our training programs, and will refer the graduate for employment interviews. ICDC College provides placement assistance to all graduates in good standing.
Students are assisted in the classroom with resume preparation, filling out job applications, along with tips on appropriate interviewing outfit and presentation techniques to help them project a professional image during their employment interviews. They also learn how to conduct a self-directed job search.
Those graduates who have demonstrated a strong determination in job searching, interviewing, and follow up, are most often successful reaching their goals.
Placement Assistance
A successful job search is dependent upon a self-confident, well-prepared applicant with a pre-planned strategy. While employment is not guaranteed, assuming cooperation on the part of the graduate, ICDC's Placement Office will work diligently with each graduate until he/she successfully obtains employment.
Job Club
ICDC College’s Placement Department provides a complimentary Job Club to all graduates. ICDC’s Job Club conducts workshops on various topics related to how to secure future employment. Graduates meet in a group setting and discuss topics on interviewing successfully, how to dress for success and how to write an effective resume.
